So we visited Cardiff Bay to visit Santa's Post Office, situated on Bute Street between the fantastic Joanna Joy’s Chocolate Emporium and GBK. The first thing I was shocked to hear is that it is free. You are greeted by 2 of Santa's Elves  that will let your children know if the children are on the naughty or nice list, then your children will get to write and personalise there letter to Santa.

Then the children get to post the letter and watch it go to the North Pole, My two little girls loved this.

"There’ll also be an exciting augmented reality pair matching game to play on your phone – the first game of its sort in Wales.  Complete the game and you will receive a special certificate from Santa’s elves!

And, there’ll be a fabulous festive treasure hunt around Mermaid Quay – with special Christmas treats for everyone taking part.

Santa’s Post Office will be open to the public from 12noon to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 29 November to Sunday 21 December, plus Monday 22 December and Tuesday 23 December.  It’s completely FREE.  It will be loads of fun, so bring your friends and don’t miss out! "

After Visting the Post Office a short walk away was Santa's Grotto by the new entrane to Pizza Express (that would be the Perfect Place for a quick bite to eat great food and service).

Santa's Grotto is a great place to grab a couple of pictures of the children get excited the with a quick visit to see Santa and a couple of presents what more could you want.

There are plenty of things happening at Mermaidquay over the Christmas period so checkout our events pages
