We had a few people round to the house. Allied Welsh were by far the most careful and experienced. Firstly a qualified Architect visited (on time) and after listening to our brief started suggesting options. He was very helpful and obviously knowledgeable. He gave a fixed quote (which they stuck to), and when we decided they were the best we received a guaranteed arrival date (which they stuck to). From arrival on site to final completion in two and a half weeks is quite incredible, all totally stress free. Stress free for us because from planning, design and through to final construction it was totally organised by them and carried out to a very high standard. They were a pleasure to have in the house, despite drinking us out of tea twice!! If your thinking of a loft go with Allied Welsh, they were great - especially the office team who were always at the end of the phone to answer my paranoid questions.
