In October 2006 an urgent fundraising charity campaign was launched to raise £50 million over the next 5 years to Save Canterbury Cathedral. Costly and extensive work is needed to conserve the Cathedral's stonemasonry, stained glass windows and lead roof. We need to raise £50 million over the next five years or we face the possibility of a future without Canterbury Cathedral.
Donations
Save Canterbury Cathedral fundraising campaign is a new initiative to help raise funds to conserve and maintain this magnificent building so generations to come can continue to enjoy and benefit from its history, culture and beauty.
With daily running costs at a staggering £12,000 per day this does not allow for essential conservation to take place.
