I was recommended to use Mike Lilford by a work colleague. I was purchasing a property in Canterbury for my sonʼs use whilst at University and I needed a surveyor. We had great difficulty in gaining access to the first property I wanted surveying due to a very awkward tenant. Mike was patient and handled the situation very well indeed. He gave me an excellent review of the property which persuaded me not to proceed further and saved me an expensive mistake. He then went on to survey the property we did purchase and to recommend a very good electrician. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a very thorough and competent surveyor

We used Mike to carry out a survey on a property we were considering to purchase as a student let (to include our daughter). Mike was easy to deal with prompt and efficient. He carried out a standard basic survey for us.

Following on from this at our request Mike introduced us to a builder, electrician, plumber and utility supplier. He project managed some work on the building but did not discourage our involvement when it suited us but was on hand when needed. He gave us useful advice and ensured we obtained value for money from the contractors. Each of the contractors also inspired confidence.

We set a limit on the number of hours we wanted Mike to work on the project and he notified us when we were near the limit so that we were not left high and dry which enabled us to prioritise.

Mike was a great help to us as we had no prior knowledge of the area with is help we saved a great deal of uncertainty.
