Located in Dover Street, Canterbury,Tuition Canterburyprovides after-school private tuition in Maths and English (Reading, Writing and Spelling) for students ranging from Year 2 to GCSE level.
Short holiday courses are also offered for children approaching the 11+. Your child is assured of the best care available as all of their tutors are qualified and experienced teachers with a passion for helping students achieve their best. To ensure the highest standards, tuition is given in small groups, however individual sessions are available for students requiring just that little extra help.
Peter Whisson originally opened his tuition centre under the name ofKip McGrath in March 2007 and rebranded asTuition Canterburyin September 2011. Students come to the Canterbury centre from all over East Kent to improve their English and Maths skills.
'Give your child a brighter future'
After an initial free assessment, the student attends a weekly session of 80 minutes to work to a programme in English or Maths tailored to his or her level and needs. Students have the use of a computer and also learn through books and worksheets. They work at their own pace, with the emphasis primarily on steady progress and solid learning, rather than on exams and deadlines.
Sessions are held on weekdays after school (between 3.45pm and 8.15 pm) and on Saturday mornings.
