Alan Cox, Chartered Financial Planner, established Zenith Asset Management with a clear vision of providing clients with a renewed confidence that a professional financial adviser can add value to their financial planning.
Alan understands the importance of a high level of knowledge to demonstrate his professionalism. This is backed up by more than 20 years financial services experience, having worked for a major high street bank, for one of the largest mutual life companies (no longer mutual) as a Senior Wealth Management Consultant, and then for a couple of smaller IFA's gaining the knowledge required to run a successful IFA business.
In 2007, Alan attained Chartered Financial Planner status, the pinnacle (or zenith) of the financial advice profession. The Financial Services Authority are clearly endeavouring to distinguish between "professional" advisers and the salesmen. By being Chartered, Alan, is already ahead of the game, however, he is not about to put his feet up and rest. Virtually every day there is a new product or a new investment fund available.
Technology improves, economies, tax laws and global markets change minute by minute. As such Alan is determined to keep up-to-date with these changes and apply this knowledge to his advice and recommendations. In-fact several Independent Financial Advisers (IFA's) have referred their clients to us with regards to certain technical aspects of financial planning, as they do not hold the relevant qualification to be in a position to advise their client.
