Silver Blades Ice Rink has been a popular facility since opening in February 2007. The ice rink attracts visitors from throughout the Cannock area and beyond who visit for the thrill of ice skating in the safe, friendly, fun atmosphere.
All ages and abilities of skater are welcomed and catered for thanks to the skating timetable. Ice skating sessions include public skating, family skating and disco skating sessions. Ice Skating Courses
Silver Blades run regular 'Learn to Skate' and 'Ice Hockey Basics' courses. The courses are delivered in 6 sessions with qualified coaches. The courses are accredited to the Skate UK and English Ice Hockey Association governing bodies. No previous experience is needed for the courses.
The Learn to Skate courses are mixed allowing the family to learn together. Adults only sessions also available. The sessions enable rapid progress to be made so you can enjoy your ice skating even more.
All equipment is provided for the Ice Hockey Basics course and players learn skating, balance control, puck control, shooting and will enjoy in-house games of this action packed and fast sport.
