I have visited many baltis over the years trying to find the best. I discovered this place about 4-5 yrs ago, quality food and great service. I travel from Wolverhampton on Wednesday and Sunday about 8 miles each way. Taken many friends and family there, all commented on the quality of food and service. I can't see me ever using anywhere else.

Once again, this little gem has risen to the occasion. We are regular visitors here due to the welcoming staff and excellent food. Our friends recently celebrated a birthday here. The food was superb, we had a great time and Alan and his staff made the evening extra special with his warm welcome and extra effort to ensure all was well. Can't recommend it any higher than we do! Wicked food, wicked service, wicked Al - seriously this is possibly the best indian food I have ever tasted. There is quite a big group of us go to Eastern Memories most weeks, and if we don't eat in we have a take away.

Excellent value for money and we have never been dissapointed with the service, atomosphere or the food.

After being let down by our regular eatery we needed an Indian restaurant in Cannock. After reading the testimonials on this site we gave the Eastern Memories a try. BRILL. Great food and service at a very competitive price. We will be returning soon and it will become our regular haunt.

A group of four of us recently visited this excellent hidden gem. The moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome and very comfortable. Then, after perusing the extensive and delectable looking menu, without feeling rushed or pressured, we ordered. We tucked into our popadums, followed by starters, mains with rice, 2 naan breads between us and coffees to finish. Each and every course was brilliant. The waiters were polite and attentative without becoming a nuisance. Due to the fact that we could take our own drinks and it was a sunday the entire bill came to just £42. Outstanding value for a terrific evening! Arguably the best curry we have had in what is a high quality area for Indian restaurants.

Eastern Memories was recommended to us. Since our first vist in April 2009 we have made it our number one Indian Restaurant. The food is wonderful and we always have great service. The king prawns are great and the nan bread is very light. I can recommend this to anyone who likes good quality Indian food at a good price. Take a visit today you will not be disappointed.

Suberb food and superb service. We've been using this restaurant now for just over a month and it is brilliant. Certainly 'the best in Cannock.' The menu features a huge variety of unusual dishes as well as the traditional favourites. The staff are friendly but not intrusive and very imformative should you need to know more about the menu. The 3 course Sunday special at £9.95 is hard to beat - fantastic value and all from the main menu. The staff here are brilliant. You never feel hurried but are never kept waiting around. A perfect all round Indian restaurant where you can even take your own drinks. Brilliant - keep up the good work guys.

Easterm memories is our favourite resturant in Cannock the food is great, low fat and very good for vegetarians! Staff are friendly and very helpfull. For a relaxed atmosphere, warm welcome and excellent food you can't go wrong. Well done Al and all the staff

Eastern Memories is, by far, the best Indian restaurant in the Cannock area. The food is excellent, at a very reasonable price and the friendly service is second to none.

Iʼm a real foodie and Eastern Memories is the best indian restaurant around for miles. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive with classic and contemporary reasonably priced dishes. The venue itself is nicely presented with ample parking.
Allan, the manager is charismatic and makes sure you are looked after. I love Indian food and have even ventured as far as London to the Bombay Brasserie (michelin starred) and let me say it wasnʼt a patch on Eastern Memories. I especially recommend the Moday to Wednesday deal where your bill is discounted 10%.


Just remember to take your own drinks if you want alcohol and also remember it is closed on Tuesdayʼs.

Eastern Memories is definately worth a visit - then youʼll just keep going back.

I recently visited this indian restaurant after it was recommended to me by a couple of people from Cannock who go there regularly. I am not fussed about the food being lower in fat than other places and was pleased that taste did not suffer. Warm welcome, good menu, good food and good value. I will go again soon to try more of the menu.
