Function Room Venue for the Cannock area.

The Cheslyn Hay Village Hall is a community venue and private function room facility. The Village Hall is set in its own grounds in Cheslyn Hay, within easy reach of Walsall and Cannock. There is ample parking and an attractive main function room, which is 15.7 metres by 9.5 Metres. The function room is perfect for Parties, Wedding Receptions, Exhibitions, Dance Classes, Martial Arts, Keep Fit, and Play Groups.

There is a full bar, which is to be used for functions and a kitchen area for preparing food, although there are no cooking facilities.

There are three other rooms, which can be used for meetings and conferences, including our Cadman Suite, which is popular as a smaller party venue and for exhibitions. The building also has a reception / welcoming area coming into the function room and a cloakroom space.

The Village Hall is owned and run by Cheslyn Hay Parish Council for the benefit of the Village and surrounding areas. The Council meets in the Council Chamber of the Village Hall on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 pm. Members of the Public are welcome any time and they are invited to participate at the beginning of the Meetings on the third Wednesdays.

Prices start at £16 per hour for the main hall and from £8.00 for the smaller suites. There is an additional charge of 50% for non residents of Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley. However, there are also a number of discounts, including regular function bookings and parties on a Friday or Saturday evening (£140, including bar).

Mothers and Toddlers - Tuesdays and Thursdays Term Time 10:00am to 11:30am

Townswomen's Guild - Third Thursday of each month, 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Chrystie Theatre - 6:45pm to 10:00pm

Tai Chi - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

YOGA - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) - 10:00am to 4:00 pm

Stardust Dance Academy - 7:15pm to 8:30pm plus additional private lessons

Slimming World - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Fridays

Aikido (Dynamic Japanses martial art originally based on ancient Jujutsu) - 7.30 to 9.30pm

The main function room is available for a party venue and other functions on Friday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays and during School Holidays.
