Christmas and New Year Bin Collections

Cannock Chase Council has reminded residents of changes to bin collections over the Christmas and New Year period.

 

  • Bins due for collection on Monday 27th December should be put out on Wednesday 29th for collection on or after that date
  • Bins due for collection on Tuesday 28th December should be put out on Thursday 30th for collection on or after that date
  • Bins due for collection on Monday 3rd January should be put out on Saturday 8th for collection on or after that date.

 

Bin crews cannot take any extra bags of waste during the festive period. Any extra waste and recycling should be taken to the recycling centres at Cannock (Lichfield Road) and Rugeley (Station Road).

 

Both centres are open from 9am to 4.30pm between Monday 27th and Friday 31st December to allow local residents to dispose of extra waste and recycling.

According to the Cannockchasedc.gov website collections are being carried out just one day after the usual collection date not two! report abuse...
