The 1950s – Having it so Good! is an interactive exhibition exploring everyday life and events of the 1950s through photographs, posters, adverts and objects – from design, fashion, music and toys to the Festival of Britain, the Queen’s Coronation and the Suez Crisis. There are games from the 1950s to play too, so there really is a lot to do.

Children can also pick up an activity pack at reception with lots of exciting activities to do both at the museum and at home.

The Museum of Cannock Chase is open all year round. In the summer months (up until the end of September) it is open daily from 11am to 5pm. General admission is free of charge.
