Becky is a very good, understanding and polite instructor. I am not a very easy student as I am a bit dislexic at times. Becky tried different approaches to make it easy for me to understand with her 'step by step' instructions and illustrations. She gave me confidence and comforted me during my 'bad' driving lesson days and made me realized not to be too hard on myself with the lessons. She made me 'enjoy' the lessons which resulted in me passing my driving test first time.

Toads school of driving is fantastic. I passed my test with no minors have felt very confiedent when I first start driving by myself (which is very important). My lessons where always great fun and informative. A friend and I got to share a drive to Aldeurgh in a double lesson. It was great fun and great practice for future driving along unknown roads. I would recommend the school very highly as sue and her team always get the extra step to make sure that one- you wil be able to pass your test and two- you will be a safe and competent driver in the future.

I had lessons with Becky for several months before her maternity leave and again for a month or so after and I passed my test on April 1st. For the last four months I have been having lessons with Louise from Toad’s School of Driving. Louise’s supportive and patient approach to teaching has helped me to slowly overcome my previous lack of confidence with driving. Her friendly and enthusiastic nature really put me at ease from our first lesson; whereas I’d dreaded lessons in the past, I now look forward to them. Louise has been an excellent driving instructor, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for lessons in the Cambridge area.

I was lucky enough to have both Sue and Louise' expertise, who collected me from my house and showed me local test routs to practice in my own time. Their flexibility enabled me to do intensive lessons throughout the summer (at my own convenience and pace) to sit my test just before university.
I have already recommended them to all my friends, especially those who have lost their confidence with other driving instructors. For personal lessons, with people who honestly do care about your success (because of being a small, local business), Toads fits the bill.

About 9 weeks ago I was on this website looking at all the amazing testimonials, I had a lesson booked with another instructor but after reading the reviews decided to phone Sue instead. This was the best decision I have made! I have been trying to pass my driving test on and off for 13 years and have failed 5 times! By the time I got to Sue I was seriously starting to think I may never pass. However, Sue and Louise have turned this all around for me and after only a few weeks of lessons I have passed my driving test 1st time! (I'm blanking out the previous 5!). I can't thank Sue and Louise enough for all their calm patient instruction and for helping to build up my confidence again after so many disappointments. I have had many driving instructors in my time and I can honestly say Sue and Louise are head and shoulders above the rest! Thanks ladies, in the immortal words of Tina Turner... "You're Simply The Best!".

When I started my first lesson for driving car I had no idea about the english road and the rules. And being a international learner driver anyone can imagine the nerves. But, Louies Carter, the best and friendly instructor i would say and recommend to new learners. She always gave proper instruction with calm and smiles in her face which makes lots of difference for a learner driver. I liked the flexibility in schedule. Moreover, I have passed the driving test recently in the very first time. All the Credit goes of my instructor and Toad's Driving school. Once, more i would like to say I enjoyed each and every lesson.

I have been learning to drive with Becki since March and I am so pleased to have had her as an instructor after needing a new one. Sue is a great instructor when i first went too her i was beyond nervous. Sue calmed me down and was a really good friendly teacher and our lessons were always fun. We had a driving lesson to hunstanton which really helped me with roundabouts and gave me a great confidence boost :) not only did sue give me confidence in driving she encouraged me to take part in a skydive for MAGPAS and it was the most amazing thing ive ever done. I passed my driving test first time which i never in a million years thought i would be able to do. I highly reccomend toads school of driving they are brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
