I have twin 4 year old girls who have danced with Jill for the last 2 years. Coming to ballet is a highlight of their week and they have recently started Tip, Tap Toe aswell which they also love. I really can't recommend the classes enough.

Both my daughters have enjoyed the Melody Bear classes enormously and it has given them the opportunity to develop their sense of rhythm and balance as well as improving their listening skills. When my elder daughter first started I was really surprised (and pleased) that Jill Bridger could engage 3 year olds for the whole time of the lesson – something that as a parent I found difficult to do! Her lessons are now ‘proper’ ballet lessons and she looks forward to them every week. The opportunity to participate in the regular shows has been a great bonus and it is good to see that Jill has such a good rapport with her pupils that the older children seem to be always happy to help out. I would definitely recommend the school.

"We have two girls, age 2 and 4, taking the Melody Movement classes. I would definitely recommend them as each class is specially tailored to its age group and is full of fun activities and a variety of different music and dances. The girls love the classes and they will prepare them well for Junior Ballet later on."

Kristina has been involved with Jill Bridger Dance classes for 9 years,
since she was 3. Right from the start she has enjoyed moving to music,
and we have always found Jill supportive and engaging. Kristina has
gained such a lot from being involved in Festival work, where competing
as a team rides above anything else. She has also had opportunity to
sing and play her cello through Jill's various shows.

Over the last ten years, the Jill Bridger School of Dance has taken on the unenviable task of teaching two generations and both genders of our family to dance. Not only that, but the School’s excellent programme of festival and show work has put us all on stage – helping to build confidence, commitment and collaboration. Most important of all, though, our achievements have been made with the indefinable ‘Jill factor’ – a mix of fun, hard work and never quite taking oneself too seriously.

The Jill Bridger School of Dance effortlessly combines charismatic tuition with fun-filled teamwork in a creative learning environment. From pre-school to adult classes, ballet to tap and modern, and Melody Bear to festival work, our family has benefited greatly from the self-confidence, work ethic and shared experience that dance can help to promote.

Our son started Melody Movement at three years old and has now moved on to First Ballet. He loves the classes - they're fun and inclusive with catchy tunes and engaging activities. The teacher and assistants are friendly and encourage all the children to participate as fully as they are able.

Our son has very much enjoyed the opportunity to take part in the summer and winter 'shows' (informal workshops on stage) and looks forward to seeing jilll every week.

I would encourage any young child who enjoys music and jumping around to give Melody Movement a go.
