We have just had new carpet fitted throughout our house by Chesterton Carpets on Milton Road and would definately recommend them. They are the best place to go for carpet in Cambridge. We went round other much bigger carpet stores who seemed very expensive and had pushy sales staff. Chesterton Carpets were the most friendly and helpful of all the carpet stores and sold you what you wanted (didn't push you all the extras!). They even managed to fit the carpet just 3 days after we bought it. The fitters were excellent and extremly effecient even moving our furniture back for us.
Would use them again.

They are friendly and helpful, turn up on time and do a quality job, all for a very reasonable price. The turn-around times are short, which is very good when you are carpetting a buy-to-let, but I have used them for my own home too and the results are great.

We got our living room, bedroom and stairs done by Chesterton Carpets. The whole lot (including the installation, which was about £80) only cost us £470 - what a bargain! I came in on Saturday. I was greeted and shown the carpets available (no hard-selling - just a friendly advice). The measuring was arranged for Wednesday(they work around your schedule rather than theirs and you can pick the time, which is convenient for you, they are quite flexible). The installation was done on Thursday. It only took about an hour and a half. The fitting was quick and professional. I could not have been happier! They have quite a selection of carpets - mine was really beautiful (and yet still cheap!). It was worth every penny! It it not very often nowadays when you get good customers service and professionalist.
Chesterton Carpets take pride in what they do and it makes all the difference.

Tip: always ask for a discount - you don't get if you don't ask. They prefer cash payments.

Dealing with them was so painless! I would totally recommend! My mother-in-law also says they used them for years and were always happy with their service.

Over a number of years I have used the services of Chesterton Carpets. I am pleased to say that not only did they offer great value for money but by doing so, they never compramised on customer service.

I would certainly recommend Chesterton Carpets to anyone who is contemplating having new flooring, either carpets or wood.
