Camberley Judo Club Testimonials

My son aged 9 started judo last year and now goes to Camberley Judo Club twice a week. He loves it! Natalie Hall who takes the junior classes somehow manages to combine making it fun, personal and highly professional. Natalie used to be a member of the GBR team and is very good at explaining the techniques of judo at a level the kids will understand.

At the other end of the ability scale the club has a team of full-time senior players who train three times a day and are likely to make up a sizable chunk of the Olympic team for 2012. If you Google the club you will find examples of other teams coming down from Scotland to train here because the standards are so high.

Judo is great for kids. As well as giving them a good physical workout, it teaches mutual respect and self-discipline. If you have children who are thinking of taking up judo, with Natalie in charge this must be one of the best places to learn in the South East.

Camberley Judo Club is an amazing institution. With virtually no funding from the Sports foundation, they hope to send 5 of the best judokas to the 2012 Olympics. I wish them the very best with their incredible ambitions.
