CAMUS PLAYS IT STRAIGHT
Camberley Musical Productions (CAMUS), after over 40 years’ production of musical shows, are breaking with tradition. Their next production at the Camberley Theatre will be a straight play. Well, ‘straight’ only in the sense that it is not a musical. It is, in fact, a hilarious and fast-moving comedy of mistaken identities and calamitous encounters, HABEAS CORPUS by the great master of comic writing for the English stage – Alan Bennett .
The cast come on all shapes and sizes of both sexes and frolic their way through double-entendres, misunderstandings and complete farce, having far too much fun on the way.
Performances at the Camberley Theatre are on Thu 18, Fri 19 and Sat 20 November 2010 and all start at 7:45pm.
Tickets are priced £12 with concessions at £10 on the Thursday and Friday.
