Being the owner of The Best of Caerphilly gives me a unique opportunity to praise and criticise the businesses and service I receive as a general consumer whilst going about my normal day in Caerphilly.
I am delighted to report that I had the opportunity to ask one of our member businesses, Tim Nicholas Carpets, to replace our carpet in our lounge - beige had not survived the attentions of our 23 month old!
We wanted something nice looking, but inexpensive, and we needed it fitted as I am clueless when it comes to DIY.
Tim Nicholas Carpets is run by Paul Jones, an absolutely lovely bloke who its a pleasure to do business with. From his showroom on the Duffryn Industrial Estate in Ystrad Mynach we had a huge selection to choose from, and were able to find exactly what we wanted at a price much less than I expected.
The work was done on time, with no hassle and with a fantastic result and no mess or tidying up left for us to do.
