A Crackin' Cut
Needed to get the old barnet seen to today, as it had been too long, and had got too long!
Now I tend to be the type of person who doesnt plan things too far in advance and I find that I'm always deciding at the last minute that I need to get my hair cut and always on a Saturday - which usually means that I have to seriously chance my luck at getting an appointment.
So today it rolled around again and my usual haunt couldn't fit me in. So I tried calling a few more and remembered that during the Big Cheese event where we had our survey for mst recommended Caerphilly businesses that Cracked Actors on Pontygwindy Road had come up a couple of times as one of Caerphilly's hidden gems.
Now, I'd never been before, sure I'd driven past many times but had never had the need to change what I knew.
One of the great things about running the best of Caerphilly is that its my job to explore businesses I havent used before - it helps me find the best local businesses, and sometimes the worst!
Delighted to report that Cracked Actors is a real find for me.
There's a really nice atmosphere and very cool contemporary design to the place. The staff are very friendly, the prices are very good and I was really pleased with the job they did on my haircut - which is not an easy thing to do - sadly it's not as thick as it used to be!!
Hats off (pardon the pun) to Daniel who did a great job today and I'm really looking forward to my next visit.
