Caerphilly's Big Cheese - Only 20 Days to go!
Caerphilly is gearing up for what promises to be one of the biggest and best annual Big Cheese events yet.
Starting on Friday 24th July until Sunday 26th July, The Big Cheese is an extravaganza of street entertainers, living history encampments, music, dance, traditional funfair, folk dancing, falconry, fire eating, minstrels, troubadours and much more.
Set in the shadows of one of Europe's largest Castle's Caerphilly is set to come alive with over 80,000 people expected to attend what is now and established, much loved and completely FREE event.
The Big Cheese is a 'must see' attraction for visitors of all ages. Portraying the history, heritage and culture of Caerphilly, the 2008 event attracted over 70,000 people. Families from all over the country flocked to Caerphilly to experience this fun filled programme of activities and entertainment.
