Ruth has been involved in cake making and wedding cakes from a very early age.  Learning the trade in Redfern's Bakery in Chapel, near Buxton.  Ruth has built her skill and love of creating wedding cakes over 30 years and had always made wedding cakes, and cakes for anniversaries for friends and family.

This love and making wedding cakes and cakes for all occasions turned into a thriving business over 3 years ago.

For the creation of your special wedding cake, Ruth can show you pictures of a variety of different wedding cakes she has made in the past for other Buxton and High Peak residents.  Ruth will also spend time with you to understand exactly what type of wedding cake you would like.  Bring all your wedding information with you from your bridesmaids colours to the type and colour of flowers you are having on your wedding day.

Every wedding cake is made with a great deal of care and attention to detail.  You can order a rich fruit wedding cake, sponge or chocolate wedding cake - whatever your preference - it has been know to have all three!

Modern designs to traditional wedding cakes are all catered for together with modern or traditional handmade flowers.

Special Diets Catered For

All diets are also catered for at Ruth's Cakes, near Buxton.  Wedding cakes can be made gluten free, egg free and made suitable for diabetics.
