This year's theme is 'Welcome to Britain' in a year that brings us the 2012 Olympics and The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
 
All ages are invited to enter the competiition at a cost of £3 per image, up to three photographs per entrant. Anyone under 19 years of age by the closing date of 1 June 2012 can enter free of charge.

Organisers are expecting a broad range of photographs reflecting places, people and events that showcase everyday British life and culture to a world stage.
 
This year's famous Buxton Festival will take place from 7 to 25 July 2012.
