Is there anyone out there who speaks Japanese?

Our Canon wide format ink jet printer at Printexpress has developed a fault as the control panel has defaulted to Japanese language display and we cannot make it go back to English. The manual is of no help. We suspect there is a problem in the main board or switchgear. A spanner and oily rag will not provide the solution as it used to do in the old days. If we cannot solve the problem, it will mean buying a new printer, which in view of Canon’s reluctance or inability to help will probably be the latest Epson 9 colour machine.
