Buxton's new champion

Competing in her first year in the competition, Sarah Lomas from Buxton Community School shrugged off a hand injury and won the title after finishing two seconds behind the final day's winner.

 

Sarah, who has also won the Notts & Derby Cyclo-Cross League U16 title winning ten of 11 races, is now preparing for the forthcoming mountain bike series.
