It's almost here, the day we've all been waiting for! The Rock, Bury's £350 million new shopping centre will officially open it's doors this Friday 16th July.
It will be the largest shopping centre to open in 2010 and is widely recognised as a solid foundation for the regeneration of Bury. Post completion of the Rock, Bury will rank 62nd in CACI's top 100 UK retail town rankings.
Shopping and Leisure
The Rock offers 1.6 million sq.ft of retail, leisure and residential development. The exciting new leisure quarter will feature a 10 screen Vue Cinema, a 24 lane AMF Bowling centre, Frankie and Benny's, Flaming Dragon, Barista and Costa Coffee. The area will also include a south facing terrace restaurant with open air seating for Pizza Express. St. John's Square and St.John's gardens will also be the ideal green space to relax in.
Other big name shops due to open this Friday include Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, H & M, Primark, Next, River Island, Oasis, Nando's, Cult, Topshop, JD Sports, Bank, Peacocks, Superdrug, Peter Jackson, Barclays, Holland & Barrett, Deichmann, The Perfume Shop and Vision Express.
