The British Blinds and Shutters Association are committed to stopping the danger that comes with the installation of blinds and shutters. In particular, they are eliminating the risk to babies and children.

Rob from Brighter Blinds is compliant with this child safety practice and as a result, gives customers peace of mind with any installation.

The British Blinds and Shutters Association have a number of ways to stop the risk that blinds pose to children, including:

  • Purchase blinds which do not come with cords. Some are now built with a safety device.
  • If not, ensure children or babies cannot reach the cord or chains.
  • Do not place cots, beds or any furniture used by children near blinds and shutters

As a member of the British Blinds and Shutters Association, Brighter Blinds are fully accredited to the 'Make it Safe' campaign and will provide you with a service which is risk-free.
