I find the Village Hotel in Bury a great meeting venue. With a Starbucks as well as the use of the Victory Bar, it gives choice as well as comfortable surroundings and pleasant atmosphere. There's wi fi available too if you need to keep your business on the move.
The Village was a good venue for a business event i recently attended.
I would like to sing the praisses of the Village Hotel in Solihull and its fantastic team. I organised a summer ball there in July last year and the whole thing ran like clockwork. From the first meeting with Mary Hemming the events co-ordinator until the evening its self, the food was beautiful , the service was outstanding and the atmosphere just sealed off the perfect evening. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they helped with priniting menus off, decorating the room, helping to lay the red carpet out, serving the welcome drinks with professionalism and generally making me feel at ease and that I could relax and also enjoy the evening. The feed back I had from those who attended was superb, and I know some have gone on to book future events. Myself I have decided to hold this years ball at the Village Solihull, not a tough decision as I could not fault them one bit , and why change a winning formula! Well done to Mary and the the whole team at the Village. Louise
We went to an ABBA tribute night with a few friends recently and we have to say we were really impressed. We had a lovley meal, entertainment and a DJ for a very reasonable price and we all had a great evening. Will definitely be going back soon!

Fantastic venue for a Childrens party. I took my two kids to the Woodbank FC Village Party last weekend and have to say that the Village Hotel was the perfect venue. The food was of excellent quality and there was lots of it too for the hungry young footballers, the DJ got the kids up dancing and Santa gave some great toys too. Excellent, 5 stars! Debi Fellone
We attended the Lunch with Santa at the Village yesterday and to be honest we were a little a disappointed. The children got no time with Santa and there was no opportunity for them to have a picture with him etc. The turkey was lovely but the rest of the dinner was undercooked and other customers also commented on this. We felt the event could have been organised a little better, perhaps with Santa seeing the children whilst the food was being served in table order so the children could see and speak to him individually. There's quite a lot of waiting around which is tough for little ones as there was no entertainment in those periods so take some books or colouring with you. The kids loved the panto and there was a lots of joining in for them which my little boy loved. They had a good time which is the main thing. Overall the facilities, parking, staff etc were good but there were a few hiccups and there are some opportunities for improvement.
After having been to a Christmas party night with work in the last few days I thought it only right that I post this review of it. We had an amazing time dancing the night away on Friday at our chosen option "soul train" - wow, what a blast - and not just from the past! The atmosphere was fabulous with everyone seeming to get right into the party spirit (some quite literally - but that's another story). The food was great, the service was excellent and the staff were very helpful throughout. I think it was great value for money and i'd certainly do it all again and recommend without hesitation. Party on..... thanks guys we had a ball ;-)
Fantastic venue to host a business exhibition. The staff were very accommodating, in fact nothing was too much trouble at all. The room was set out perfectly upon arrival, we were treated to drinks whilst preparing the room and the PA system was ready and set up for us. The feedback from attendees to the event has been very positive with many saying this was our best venue to date. Good lighting, clean bright room with the added bonus of the balconies for extra space and fresh air. Overall excellent experience!
We held our Business Expo at Village Hotel Bury last Thursday and I could not fault the venue at all. We (and our guests) were blown away by the professionalism and friendly approach of all the staff, who went out of their way to help our event run smoothly. The venue itself was perfect for our needs and we have received fantastic feedback.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Samantha, Kirsteen and the team at the Village Hotel, Bury for hosting our latest business exhibition and networking event last week. Nothing was too much trouble, nothing left to chance and everything was as meticulously planned from your end as it was ours. The feedback we have received has been absolutely fantastic with the venue being a major plus point for most people. It made such a difference to us to have everything readily available and in place on arrival - so much so we actually had a few minutes breather between setting up and starting the event which was a refreshing change. We booked this hotel with a Groupon Voucher. From the moment we arrived we liked what we saw. The room was lovely and the leisure facilities great! Loved the bar and really enjoyed our stay overall. Well worth the money. We will be returning.

Mine and my boyfriends stay at the hotel was great. The room was clean and lovely, the bar wss really good and reasonably priced. The staff were amazing - really friendly, lovely and helpful. They made our stay great especially the lady on the desk as we came in and the first floor office ladies.
A very nice welcome and a lovely room. We had a lovely meal in The Verve Grill restaurant and a more than adequate breakfast too. Thank you very much.

Extremely relaxing. very nice people. Beauty treatments were lovely. Rooms are gorgeous and very comfy. Also loved the Starbucks and the food in the restaurant was divine!! Will definately be returning.
