I would thoroughly and heartily recommend The Creative Living Centre. It is, without doubt, the warmest and most compassionate environment Iʼve ever experienced. It offers a truly remarkable dose of sanity and spiritually-orientated sense of purpose in a world often devoid of such things. Itʼs an oasis and veritable haven for all who, through their sense of distress or dispossession, wish to find acceptance and non-judgmental loving kindness. I have recently joined the Centre as a Volunteer and Trustee, and my love for the place deepens by the day. The CLC always requires more support, however, and relies upon donations or voluntary work, in whatever form, that comes our way. It is not only important, but imperative that a sanctuary for those who need it most - which is what the Centre is - survives now and into the distant future. The Creative Living Centre stand at Manchester Town Hall International Womensʼ Day was well attended with a lot of interest being shown in what we are about, how we work, how to access becoming a member plus interest in becoming a volunteer. The volunteers attending to the stand had a good opportunity of talking to people on a one-to-one basis about the CLC and also had the opportunity to network and make people aware that we had a site via The Best of Bury which they were interested in the Best of for their own areas.
We also had the satisfaction of selling some of the products that have been produced by our members which in turn will, I am sure give them a little boost knowing that their creations were WORTHY of selling and at the same time helping to bring a little extra money into the Centre which is badly in need of funds at the moment. A fulfilling day for CLC, A WONDERFUL EVENT, and a fabulous Venue.

After having visited The Creative Living Centre last week I can quite honestly say that it is a great place to be! There is a lovely warm welcome from a great team of dedicated volunteers. There are great facilities, tea and coffee and lunch should you so wish. There is also a fabulous timetable of activities which include something for everyone. A great charity, doing great stuff for the community!
