Thought Medequip for Kids was such a great charity myself and my business colleague decided to chuck ourselves out of a plane at 14ooo feet doing a tandem skydive in order to raise money for them great charity looking after kids in the NorthWest!

The Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge was brilliant, we loved it! It was absolutely awesome and the first time we've done it but definitely will do it again next year!

The volunteers at the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge have been great. The event was brilliantly organised and excellently signposted. All the people along the route kept us going and the volunteers put so much into it. We had a fantastic time.

I wanted to raise money for one of the smaller charities rather than a national and, when I googled for one, MedEquip4kids came up. I thought it would be great to complete the BUPA Great Manchester Run for a Manchester-based charity.

I had a baby girl stillborn at 24 weeks at Fairfield Hospital and have had two boys since so I wanted to complete the BUPA Great Manchester run to do something for my local hospital. It was exhausting but exhilarating and has given me a great sense of achievement.

Lava Trek was one of the most fantastic things I've ever done, visiting a spectacular country, making great friends and having a personal challenge all while raising money for Medequip4kids. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I very much enjoyed the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge, which was exceptionally well- organised. I hope the money will help Medequip4kids' wonderful efforts for sick babies and children.

The Medela breast pump is a really welcome piece of equipment and will be put to good use by the breastfeeding mums who have pre-term or ill babies in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre hospitals. The availability of the pump for community use will also have a positive impact on our breastfeeding rates. Thank you from the Neonatal Outreach Service and the families in our care.

Thanks to Medequip4kids, we have brightened the daily routine of children in Booth Hall and Pendlebury Hospitals. At the Theodora Children's Trust our team of specially trained professional artists have created charming characters to bring smiles, laughter, music and magic to not only children staying in hospital but also their parents, siblings, visitors and staff, for which we express sincere gratitude.

We have been very fortunate to have the help and support of Medequip4kids. Updating equipment and facilities is always a challenge- making sure that they are right for children is even more so. Medequip4kids understands the needs of children in hospital, and have worked with us to improve things here at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.

Having the new Infusion Pump has brought the Eye/ENT Unit at the Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust into the 21st century. Our grateful thanks to everyone who donated funds to Medequip4kids which has enabled them to purchase the machine. It will certainly be put to good use and will enhance the care that we give our children undergoing ENT and Opthalmic surgery.

We are delighted to receive two Vital Life Signs Monitors and a Sleep Apnoea Monitor from MedEquip4kids. These will ensure that all "at risk" babies at Stepping Hill Hospital will have access to the same treatment.

All of the hospitals in the trust, including Fairfield General Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital, have benefitted from the fundraising work of Medequip4kids and we want to thank the charity for their continued efforts. It's not just children that hospital treatment who benefit- the charity also raises money to support NHS work in the community.

The Maternity Unit at The Royal Bolton Hospital would not have the state-of-the-art equipment we now have without the support of MedEquip4Kids. The addition of parent accommodation has also made a huge difference to the quality of care we can provide.

If it was not for the state of the art life-saving equipment provided by the neo-natal units, Callum and luke would not be alive now. The equipment provided by Medequip4Kids is the difference between life and death. These monitors show things such as the pulse rates and oxygen levels making it easier for the medical teams to see problems early and save lives.

We wanted to run because our children have benefitted from the medical equipment provided by charities like Medequip4Kids. Our twind Daniel and Martha were born eight weeks premature. That support from the NHS through charities like Medequip4Kids was something we really appreciated and it is only when you experience something like that you understand and appreciate what Medequip4Kids do!

My son Toby was cared for at North Manchester Childrens Hospital's special care baby unit and I asked them what I could do to say thank you. They suggested running the BUPA Great Manchester Run on behalf of Medequip4Kids which is just what I did!
