JG Singing is owned and managed by Jenny Grimshaw, a professional and highly experienced singing teacher based in Bury. Jenny also runs two social singing groups and sings at special occasions including weddings, corporate events and parties.
Jenny Grimshaw is a professional singing teacher based in Bury, Lancashire. Jenny has years of experience and is a highly accomplished singer with a passion for teaching, helping her students to develop their talent.
Jenny of JG Singing runs The Harmony Belles and is always looking for new members to join the group. Harmony Belles are a lovely group of ladies who are friendly and welcoming, and being part is the perfect way to meet new friends and have fun whilst developing your singing skills.
Jenny can also be booked to sing at special occasions such as weddings, corporate events and parties. With such a unique and beautiful voice, competitive prices and an extensive selection of songs, JG Singing is the perfect choice for entertainment.
Jenny began singing at the age of six and went on to study at Lancaster University and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She holds a certificate of teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and has performed at prestigious venues in Manchester, London, Paris, Venice, New York and Los Angeles.
The Harmony Belles
The Harmony Belles is a social singing group (much more than an average choir!) that meets weekly at Jenny's singing studio. The group is just like meeting your friends for catch up over tea and cake but with lots of singing involved!
The Harmony Belles sing Disney themes, show tunes, popular music and just plain fun songs, with rehearsals held every Wednesday from 7pm - 8pm. No previous experience is needed to join the group and membership is just £20 per month including rehearsals, sheet music, books, CD's, learning material and refreshments.
The group performs in singing competitions and at concerts, as well enjoying social outings throughout the year.

Teaching
Singing lessons from JG Singing are suitable for all ages and abilities, whether you just want to sing for pleasure, build confidence, prepare for a special occasion or want to become a professional singer.
The lessons can be taught on a one-to-one or a group basis feature working with the piano, backing tracks, sheet music and theory guides. You will also learn about the voice, performance techniques, how to read music, training your aural ear and microphone technique.
Jenny offers students the opportunity to take Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and Trinity Guildhall exams, participate in recitals and shows, enjoy social activities and make their own CD's. She can also assist with GSCE music studies and theory lessons.
Lesson costs are on a fixed fee basis of just £48 per month.

Having a singer to entertain your guests can help to make your special occasion memorable and enjoyable. Jenny Grimshaw can sing at a variety of events, from weddings to parties.
Jenny can sing along with backing music which is provided, or with an accompanist. JG Singing tailors services to match your individual requirements, providing musical magic to ensure your event is remembered for all the right reasons.
A personal touch that will leave lasting memories of all your special occassions from weddings through to funerals.

Gift vouchers are also available from JG Singing, which include singing lessons and a unique recording experience.

Hi Jenny, just wanted to say how amazing the concert was today. I thought all the singers were fantastic â you really know how to get the best out of everyone. Gracie loved every minute. This has done wonders for her confidence and I canât thank you enough.
I have had private singing lessons with Jenny for almost two years now and have absolutely loved every minute of it. From concerts and exams to the wonderful experience of taking part in Teen Melodies and singing in a choir. The amazing amount of progress I have made through attending my weekly lessons, and all the confidence and enjoyment I have gained from being able to seriously develop my passion for singing in such a fun filled and highly motivating environment, is all thanks to her. Going to my singing lesson is one of my favourite parts of the week and I think that Jenny is a brilliant teacher!
The Harmony Belles is a fantastic choir as not only does everybody love to sing but we are all good friends, with new members quickly slotting into the group. The Belles also have great song choices ranging from Abba and Queen to Disney and film songs which we all work at together.
Through my private lessons my singing ability has vastly improved and so has my confidence. Jenny has the patience of a saint and will always work with you to perfect songs and performance ability, never minding if we have to keep repeating the same bar! I always look forward to my singing lessons because they are not only educational but enjoyable too.
I had not sung for over 40 years and wanted to sing again for fun. Jennyâs lessons have given me confidence to find my voice again, and the half hour lesson goes far too quickly. Thanks Jenny
