My family and I have just come home from an amazing weekend in The Lake District which was made as good as it was by the fabulous motorhome that we had on hire from Freedhome, Bury. From collecting the motorhome where everything was very well and thoroughly explained, to being on hand should we need any help or advice the whole experience of the hiring was exceptional from start to finish. The motorhome was equipped with absolutely everything you needed and all you needed to take with you was your own towels. The facilities on board were excellent with instant hot water, in built shower, great sized fridge and freezer, cooker in which we made full meals no problem, plug in toaster, 3 double beds .........the list goes on! All in all a fabulous experience that I would suggest everyone should try at least once. I've got the bug and would love to do it again. I would recommend without hesitation. Try it, you'll love it!
We took a gamble, never having hired a motorhome before, not knowing where we were going or what to expect but my wife and I and both children haven’t stopped talking about our New Year’s adventure and telling everyone all about it. We can thoroughly recommend this type of holiday to anyone and the assistance, advice and friendliness shown to us by the staff at Freedhome in Bury was second to none. Hired a Freedhome 6 berth for use at the Solfest Music Festival. Price was keen, equipment was above and beyond including such as salt and pepper, folding chairs, disposable BBQ and even bedding. Motorhome was spotless, handover was thorough and I always learn something about customer service from Academy Group. We hired a Frontier Delaware motorhome for 10 days to go to France on a fishing trip. Although we had previously had a caravan it was our first time in a motorhome. We were made extremely welcome by Jason and his team and given reassurances that we would be able to handle the motorhome very easily along with the total backing of the company and crew should anything go astray or any mishaps happen, backed up with telephone numbers etc. We did not have to concern ourselves with European requirements as these were all taken into account and provided. A guided tour of the vehicle on pick-up was thorough and exact and left us full of confidence. Well done Ian for a good job. The motorhome itself was spotlessly clean and the bed and bedding provided were a dream to sleep in. The toilet was immaculate and all kitchen equipment provided. A brilliant holiday made easy due to a well organised company and excellent staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.
We can't speak highly enough of the friendly and efficient way everything was handled by Jason and the Team at Freedhome. We were completely new to motorhomes and so a little apprehensive but we needn’t have worried as the whole experience is absolutely worth a mention. We were keen to “try before you buy” and the choice of new vehicles was a big attraction for us. We were reassured too by our several telephone conversations with Jason beforehand plus the e-mailing to us of all the documentation needed. The motor home itself was immaculately prepared and the handover by Jason himself was comprehensive with a detailed explanation of how everything works. Jason told us to contact him if we needed any assistance during the hire. He also arranged to securely garage our car and so we felt very well looked after. We would recommend Freedhome without hesitation going by our experience and we will be renting from them again. They are a pleasure to do business with!
We hired a Tribute 725 from freedhome in the first week of june 2011. The one we had was only a few weeks old and immaculately prepared. The unit was really well equipped and great fun to drive. We took it to Wales and stayed in lots of fantastic places over the week, covering hundreds of miles. Our children aged 9 & 10 both loved every minute of it. Everything went smoothly, from collection to return. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, knowledgable and informative. We will hire again in the not too distant future. Many thanks to all, John S

Very impressed with the support given before and after the rental, especially as Jason and his team were helping me out as my previous rental company had let me down at the last minute. The vehicles are excellent and some of the best kept we've seen - we were so pleased with the service that we're booking again for next year.
