We ate here several times and so when we had to decide where to hold Dads wake I had no hesitation in asking Dave and Sue to arrange the food. They managed to feed over 50 people in one sitting with hot and cold food and we had family there from all over the North West and without exception everyone commented on the venue and the food. We have tried everything from bar snacks to Sunday roasts and the curry night on Fridays, great food, friendly hosts, real ale, log fire there isn't anything to complain about, the food is half the price of the nearby Pack Horse and just as good or better, maybe that’s why its shut down, hope to eat and drink here for a long time to come.

The quality of food and service equals that of a high end city centre restaurant but with the friendliness and surroundings of a cosy country establishment. Highly recommended.

With the excellent food produced by Jackie and the music and atmosphere produced by Steve a night at the 'Next Door' is one to remember. As one of Bury's leading english restaurants, Next Door offer carefully prepared food made with only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.

Our family had a meal in Next Door, pre Christmas. We were all seated in the separate area, at 1 table, which was brilliant. The menu choice was excellent and the food was high quality. !st time we had been there, and don't think it will be the last. Quick service and the bring your own drink, wasn't a problem.
