The Village Hotel is celebrating all things sport this autumn as they welcome two very special guests - Dame Kelly Holmes and Matt Le Tissier.
The sport-themed events will kick off on Saturday 29th October at 2pm, when Village Hotel Bury is offering an unmissable opportunity to meet double Olympic Champion and national treasure Dame Kelly Holmes.
Kelly will be encouraging visitors to take part in the Dame Kelly Holmes Fitness Challenge, a fun event that will boost your confidence and change your attitude to exercise. Visitors will also be able to hear Kelly's motivational and inspiring life story first hand, as well as chatting with her and having photos taken. Kelly will also be signing copies of her latest book and there is a junior athletics workshop to keep the kids entertained!
Following close on Kelly's heels will be the hotel's popular Sportman's Dinner on Thursday 24th November, which will see guest speaker Matt Le Tissier (Southampton, England, Sky Sports) regale the audience with sporting tales. Matt will be joined by big name comedian Gary Skyner, who won the Merseyside Comedian of the Year award for three years running.
Tickets for the Sportman's Dinner are £30 and include a delicious three course meal with table service.
