"This Christmas appears to have been a resounding success with record attendance at our annual events and so much positive feedback from visitors and local people. The historic town has been bustling with people and many of its independent and national stores have reported positive trading as a result of high footfall and their own marketing initiatives and promotions."

"The run up to Christmas has been a great success and we were delighted to support the town's celebrated Christmas lights switch-on and to provide live entertainments in Charter Square to coincide with the Christmas Fayre; extending Bury St Edmunds' enviable festive spirit throughout the town. These events were even more successful thanks to the fact that Bury St Edmunds benefits from some of the best parking and park and ride provision in the county. As arc celebrates its first Christmas, we are enjoying being part of such an accessible and vibrant town centre."
