My friends and I love visiting LP. There are not many places in Suffolk, let alone Bury, that offer a quieter place for food and drinks and then a second floor to carry the night on with a dance. Not to mention the friendly service from Dave, Mike and all the LP team. I would highly recommend visiting for a fabulous night out.
Can't get enough of thus place. They are so welcoming - especially to families. Accomodate all sorts of special requests on the menus, take great care of you and it's a very relaxing place to be.
As a senior citizen who has enjoyed coffee (the cappuccino is excellent) or lunch or an early evening meal at The LP I never feel out of place & the staff are very welcoming & attentive.The ground floor is well laid out with sofas, tables & chairs & there`s room to spread yourself & relax.Pictures & prints adorn the walls; it has a great ambience.The drinks range is excellent, the pizzas generous & appetising & roasts are now on the menu on sundays.Sure the LP can get very busy on a friday or saturday night after 8.30 pm but those of a more mature age who are nearly tucked up in bed should check it out during the daytime.
well what can be said apart from that is the best bar/club in bury!! introducing a high standard of drinks and food alike, great staff who are alway there to make your night simply the best, thts including the door staff!! im very happy to be part of the team at LP!

The LP has become a religious view for me. Filled a hole in the Bury 'night out' circuit and has proved itself to stay there. Staff are amazing, I actually enjoy work for once. The music is really good and the style of the food, drinks and overall place is exquisite. Top notch stuff x

Better pizza than the Italians do it, Great atmosphere, amazing music, great sound, great drinks. A place to come and relax, a place to work, a place to party and a place to socialise. The best place to be in town by a mile.

The staff are all amazing. great atmosphere. great food, drinks and music.It is the ONLY place to go in Bury St Edmunds with any charm and class. every night is a good night and that is a fact!
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The sunday lunch just introduced was a great success. Loving the varied, live music. Its the perfect place to showcase and enjoy local musical talent or for really burning up the dance floor at weekends!
At last we have an independent Pizzeria and Wine Bar and a Club... such a relaxed feeling and ambience, whether I go there with my friends, or for a quiet drink with my husband or treat my daughter and baby granddaughter to some time out... it is always good there. Last Sunday we had the most delicious roast, which had been cooked in the wood burning Pizza oven. Divine. Of course a decent wine list complements the yummy food... We love it.
Really great place for meeting friends and drinks, LP has become my Friday night must. With a trendy bar and pizza resturant downstairs and club upstairs it is a real mix. The bar is quite light which is great its nice to actually see my friends when I go out and there is lots of seating, its really rare to get a table at most bars but when you want a catch up its a must. Funky decor (check out the toilets) and super staff. I usually just go to the bar there but a few weeks ago we went up to the club, a real mix of music, played some old house right through to some commercial chart stuff, we had a super night there. My favourite thing about LP is that it seems to have managed to avoid all the 18 year olds drinking there which is really refreshing for Bury St Edmunds.A great night out, you'll forget your Bury, this venue would not be out of place in Shoreditch - very trendy.
