The Grid is a real asset to Bury, we go there regularly and have taken friends and family many times and always had a fantastic, great value meal. The pasta-based starters are always particularly imaginative and delicious, and the venison steak a great fave for main course, but the whole menu always strikes the right balance between quality ingredients and innovative recipes.
The staff and manager are also reliably lovely.
My only complaint is that a gourmet tasting menu evening which we attended about a year ago hasnʼt been repeated, as it was fabulous!

We eat here regularly and are never disappointed. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Beautiful building (old beams, wobbly floors) and complimentary furniture. The staff are always very friendly and the menu has a great range. Try the duck wontons!

I have been a fan of The Grid since it first opened and will echo the reviews of others, excellent quality seasonal and local food, good decor (the seats are lovely!) and lovely wine. A great place for any occaision whether it be a romantic meal or a business lunch.

This is a cracking place for qood quality, yet affordable meals. Itʼs modern and welcoming and you always receive great service. I last went here on the first Saturday in July and had a great time with my wife and our friends. Will be coming back for sure!

We have lots of restaurants in Bury St Edmunds, but not many are independent .. so it gives me great pleasure to bring my friends here, for a nice welcome, beautifully presented food... sometimes we just stop by for coffee or /and a glass of wine... alwaysa smile greets us. Nice ambience, good quality glasses and lovely loos!!
Another exceptional meal today! and not expensive
