In the carvery restaurant you will enjoy delicious meats - the carvery is available all day Sunday and lunchtime and evening from Monday to Saturday. We carve roast pork, beef, turkey and gammon joints on rotation to match your appetite and coffee at the end of your meal is free during the week.
Pub Food Restaurant

World War II Connections
Originally a farmhouse constructed just before Word War II, The Flying Fortress in Bury St Edmunds was commandeered by the U.S. 8th Air Force who used it as a Technical Stores for the duration of the war on the newly created Rougham Airfield. Some of the many photographs on display in the pub show the B17 bombers and aircrew. You will also find parts of aircraft that crash landed and wartime nick-nacks as part of the collection of World War II memorabilia.
