the apex boasts stunning architectural design features and has a moving stage plus seating that can be changed for each performance or show. The acoustics mean you will be able to listen to bands, artists and performers with clarity throughout the venue. There is also a spectacular first floor glass atrium.

Conference facilities
the apex is the perfect place to hold your next conference. The auditorium is 24m x 15.5m and the moveable floor accommodates configurations including raked, flat and in the round. With a seating capacity of over 500 or standing capacity for up to 750, the apex has the room to accommodate your conference with ease.
Additional facilities include a first floor glass atrium with a standing capacity of 350 plus excellent dressing rooms and rehearsal spaces are available. There are three studios, perfect for smaller meetings or break out areas.
Technical support includes PA equipment, staging, lighting, lectern, flipcharts, laptops, projectors, microphones - everything you will need, plus superb catering too.

The Farmers Club hosted our champagne and cream tea wedding reception for 53 people in May 2012. The arrangements, food, staff and the service could not be faulted. I have been to several events at the apex and I have to say I am incredibly impressed by the variety of wonderful preformers on offer. Most recently I went to see 3 Daft Monkeys and I was pleased to see that the seating arrangement had been changed to allow everyone to dance, as most everyone wanted to. This has been my only critism in the past where on a few shows I thought the seating did not fit the type of preformance. The versitility of the seating is fabulous. The Apex is such a fantastic venue - I'm thinking of becoming a member
Footloose on the third Sunday of most months is absolutely fantastic. People of all ages and dance genres and abilities can have a great afternoon dancing and meeting friends. A very special mention should be made for Mambo Mark who makes it all possible and is a fantastic DJ.
I have bought several tickets to see various perormances at the new Apex. Amazing. And the on line booking is easy and works. The venue is such an asset to BSE.
We had a super night at the Apex seeing Steve Harley last week. The acoustics are amazing. We pre ordered our drinks so we had no queuing in the break. I love this amazing asset to Bury St Edmunds and look forward to the next event- this Friday a private party by a local prominent businessman who is hosting his Xmas party there.
