Lisa is a member of the British Dog Groomers Association and has been grooming dogs for over 10 years. Your dog can have a Kennel Club clip or a ‘lifestyle’ clip, whichever you prefer.
Your dog will be pampered in our fully equipped professional grooming parlour and will receive:
- Two shampoos
- Conditioner
- Full drying
- Clipping or scissoring
- Nails clipped
- Ears cleaned or plucked
We pamper all dogs with care and welcome elderly or ailing pets who will receive especially gentle and alternative pampering. Lisa is trained in canine musculoskeletal symptoms and medical conditions through her professional hydrotherapy qualifications.
Dog training
You can bring your dog to dog training classes at Suffolk Canine Country Club whatever their age. Group training courses are run on a rotating eight week basis and cover:
- Walking well on a lead
- Coming back when asked
- Control at doorways etc
- Jumping up
- Food control
- Domestic good manners
and an emergency stop for traffic will also be explained. Group numbers are restricted so that every dog receives individual attention.
The course will also cover dog ownership, care, management and your obligation in law.
Individual obedience and behavioural sessions are also available.
Canine Hydrotherapy
Suffolk Canine Country Club is a full member of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA) and adheres to its standards and code of practice. As a member of the CHA our hydrotherapy treatment is covered by many pet insurance companies.
Our Hydrotherapy Centre is fully equipped and includes a heated pool which is fitted with hydro-jets and an underwater treadmill. Hydrotherapy can help your dog recover from a wide range of injuries and can relieve pain.
All hydrotherapy treatment is booked through your vet to ensure your dog is fit enough for the treatment. We will stay in contact with your vet during the course of hydrotherapy, and provide full written feedback.
