Ravenwood Hall is truly a unique place to dine and stay. The setting and house itself are beautiful, as is the decor and ambience. The food always looks scrumptious - carefully thought through menus delivered in style.

A unique dining experience! So different! High quality food, cooked to perfection.. first class service, simply the best meal we've had in a very long time. Nothing was too much trouble, and the Baileys Coffee should be made illegal! Fabulous!

I live close to Ravenwood Hall and it's setting is lovely. I have had mixed results when eating there however. It ranges from excellent to poor and I can't understand why. I've enjoyed a fantastic time near the fire in the Conservatory where everything was lovely, but had a small piece of plastic in my meal in the dining room. We've had good service from the waiters and been kept waiting ages at other times whilst other (later) sittings have received their meals. If Ravenwood would improve it's consistency of service and quality, I'd rate it higher. It's just too risky to use when the satisfaction of one's guests is important.

I have been a huge fan of Ravenwood Hall since having my wedding reception there (20 years ago now!) The food is consistently great, there is always a warm welcome and the gardens and surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. The garden/pool terrace is the perfect haven in summer to enjoy lunch and a cool drink.

I have eaten at Ravenwood Hall many times, the food is quite simply, outstanding. However when you combine the beautifully prepared dishes with the welcome you receive and the attentive service it really does add up to a very wonderful experience.

As a side note, my wife and Ned (our border terrier) stayed for a weekend last October, our wedding anniversary... I didn't want to leave.

We always enjoy the atmosphere at Ravenwood. The staff are helpful and attentive. The food is well presented, varied and delicious. The wine selection is excellent.We think the cost is very reasonable.
We have taken many friends and family here and will continue to do so.

We held our wedding reception here in Summer 2009 and were overwhelmed by the quality of the food and drink. We had such a fantastic time as did our friends and family that we make the effort to go back as often as we can as the food, surroundings and staff are so fantasic. Special mention to Yvonne the co-ordinator for her effort throughout and wedding experience.

My wife and I love the ambiance at Ravenwood, whether we take a party there or just go by ourselves the welcome is always the same, wonderful. We have never had a complaint, Craig Jarvis and his staff do a marvelous job. We even had our daughters wedding here.I take a car owners club there every Christmas and another party every February.

The food is outstanding and the service has always been excellent. Nothing is any trouble for the staff and the atmosphere has been really good. I can’t rate the Ravenwood enough. Well worth a visit. This is my favourite place to eat in Suffolk. Would highly recommend.

A very friendly, calm and warming atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and have time to talk to you. Lacking, I think in a lot of establishments. A bonus for us they take dogs and they are also welcomed. The food is hot, well presented and tasty.

We love Ravenwood Hall. We have taken many friends there for dinner and treat my in laws there for lunch as often as it is possible.
We can highly recommend this as one of the best in Suffolk.
Love the Black Lion in Long Melford too.
