I first started going into the shop because it was the only place, that I know of, that stocks surf boards in Suffolk! However after the excellent help and first hand advice I had from Chris this is the first place I will be going to get a new board. I now just go in there to chat about surfing when I am home. Great shop, absolute gem in the middle of Suffolk - even in comparison to surf shops in Cornwall. Chris and Caroline deserve everything they get.

Its so friendly that I managed to make friends with the people who worked in there, (I was in there that often) and then have them think of me when they needed a new part time worker!

I had the best time working and shopping in there, and love how Chris and Caroline are genuine people who also enjoy all the things they are promoting and selling.

It has a distinct essence of coolness which matches the clothes, the hardware, the hobbies and the staff.

I have shopped at Odyssey since they opened a few years ago and will continue to do so. Odyssey is synonymous with quality - quality and product and more importantly, quality service. The owners have battled against larger national chain stores and have proved that small independants must live on!

Odyssey is the greatest shop in Bury St Edmunds, the staff and owners are extemely friendly and very helpful. they offer good surf and snow clothing as well as keeping the style bang up to date. Would so rather give my hard earned cash to a small business than a massive corporation.

Fantastic stock to suit all different ages and styles, I particularly love the range of really unique shoes (people stop me in the street and ask where I got my purple heels) and 'flashlips'lip gloss with a built in torch! A really friendly service with nothing too much bother. You can order online and have gorgeous things arrive through your front door within a day or two. In a world of chains and faceless brands Odyssey is a breath of fresh air and makes parting with your hard earned money a real pleasure.
