Bedrooms
You can choose between three double bedrooms, all overlooking the garden.
All our beds are hotel-quality Hypnos beds, and all rooms have televisions, internet access and kettles.
As Blackthorpe House is Georgian, none of the bathrooms are en suite, but each room has a bathroom exclusively for the use of the people in the room.
The Master Bedroom (first floor)
Decorated with Zoffany wallpaper and Abbott and Boyd fabric, this light, dual aspect room has a 6ft double bed and its own dressing room and bathroom across the landing with a separate shower as well as a bath.
The Red Room (first floor)
As its name suggests, this room is decorated with rich red hand-painted walls with Toile de Jouy curtains and bed hangings. Its bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The Attic (second floor) .
This covers the entire top floor. The whole suite is decorated in Vanessa Arbuthnott wallpaper and fabric with duck egg blue furnishings. There are twin beds (which can be zipped together to make a double bed). It has a small sitting room and a bathroom.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the conservatory between 8am and 10am.
Your continental breakfast includes cereals, yoghurts, ham and cheese, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs from our own hens.
