Blackthorpe Barn is a 16th century thatched barn in Bury St Edmunds. It is a permanent arts centre and holds a series of Christmas Craft markets - perfect for Christmas Shopping.
Our reputation has been growing, like our Christmas Craft Markets, for 20 years.
On sale will be award winning Christmas Trees from The Rougham Estate.

Christmas Craft Markets
If you want different, unique Christmas presents, then come Christmas Shopping to one of the Christmas Craft Markets at Blackthorpe Barn in Bury St Edmunds.
Over 60 stalls will be selling carefully selected, original crafts, many made by the stallholders themselves - perfect Christmas gifts.
You won't be short of inspiration for Christmas presents, you will have so much to choose from.
You can do your Christmas Shopping in a calm environment surrounded by the smell of pine trees and mulled wine.

I love Blackthorpe Barns, especially during the Christmas period. There's nothing more likely to put me in the Christmas spirit by choosing our tree (great tree wrapping service here too!) and shopping in the craft market for bits and bobs. Well done to all at Blackthorpe Barns for adding an individual, well run and much talked about business to our area.
I love the annual ritual of putting on our warm clothes and heading to Blackthorpe Barn to choose our christmas tree, always fresh from the field. The shop feels so christmassy and magical and is such a lovely place to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and to find some lovely bits and pieces for the table and last minute presents.
I buy my Christmas tree from Rougham Barn every year, knowing that they have just come from the field, and are not going to loose their needles all over the place within days. It is an added treat to have a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie....oh, and a little shopping thrown in.** Heaven.**
