Waterswood successfully completed two major projects on our house (an attic conversion and a two storey extension). John was involved from the beginning, discussing our requirements and helping clarify our initial thoughts. He had a major creative input into the design as well as providing solid advice on the practicalities. The professional design drawings were essential in helping us to finalise the design as well as for building control and planning consent. At the end of a fairly lengthy design process we feel we arrived at pretty much a perfect design. The building phase went as smoothly as these things can do; John and his team went to great efforts to keep disruption to a minimum through careful planning and tidy work practices, the quality of workmanship was high, and the team were always friendly and reliable. When there were building issues (thankfully very few) we were able to discuss them, quickly resolve them and move on with the project. We were particularly impressed with the input on the kitchen design which substantially revised and improved our initial ideas. Our house and living space has been totally transformed and this is in large part due John’s expertise and the pride his team take in their work. Both projects were completed on time and pretty much to budget. We are delighted with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Waterswood for similar projects.
