SKIING
With a wide range of lessons and a structured timetable, the centre will have you progressing through the skill levels at a pace to suit you. All abilities are catered for and whether you're a nervous beginner or a potential future Olympian, there is a session to help you make the most of what's on offer. SNOWBOARDING
As with Skiing, the centre offers you a full range of lessons and a structured timetable specifically in sync with your individual needs. The skill levels and available sessions are designed to take you through from beginner to expert, so once you're an established boarder you can continue to progress onto ramps & rails or even become an instructor.
SNO-TUBING AND TOBOGGAN
Sno-Tubes are the newest addition to Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre. These large inflatable rings can be spun around and linked together as they slide down the hill. It's safe, fast, furious & fun for children and adults alike! Sno-tubes are available most days, but please call the centre before you come to check availability of sessions.
Ride the Cresta Run, the centres awesome Toboggan ride. The car takes you up to the top of the hill and then you are in control! The Toboggan run is 500m of fun fun fun! You control the brake handle, this allows you to ride from the top of the hill, all the way down the run through the series of twists and turns. It's great fun for the family.
PARTIES & CATERING
Is it your birthday soon? Then you can have your party at the ski centre too! Enjoy your activity of choice followed by our children's hot or cold party meals including squash, ice-cream dessert and a party bag. The birthday child also receives a free voucher which can be used to go back another time for even more fun.
The superb 'Alpine Lodge' catering facilities at the centre overlook the slopes, so you won't miss a minute of the action. On offer is a wide choice of popular foods on the daily menu which is available week days 11am-9pm and weekend 10am-6pm plus a range of packaged activities geared for businesses, schools, clubs and parties. You can now relax in style in the new coffee lounge area overlooking the nursery slope. Sit back and enjoy a well earned rest in the real leather tub chairs, perfect for Apres Ski relaxation. A really enjoyable time with the family from beginning to end. The food was good value and there was excellent choice. All the staff were friendly and pleasant.
Have just been to a child's birthday party held at the Ski Centre, it was very well organised and much enjoyed by the kids who did tubing and then a couple of goes on the toboggan. Their party lunch was then served in the very pleasant restaurant, I was delighted to see it was on the table within 2 minutes of them sitting down, unlike some I've been to (at the Snowdome) where it's taken 45 minutes to get their food. We'd never been to the Ski Centre before but are looking forward to going back now as a family for another go on the slopes!

The new misting system on the slope is a fantastic improvement and really helps before going out on real snow.

I have used Swadlincote Ski Centre for about 7 years now with a wide vairety of groups and young people and always found the centre to provide a great, affordable service, whether learning to ski or board, to fun events or even for meetings I have hosted there. The food is of a good standard and again very reasonably priced. A great place to learn to ski or board and suddenly you find the mountains are under your feet at a much reduced cost to other centres - I only wish I'd learnt to ski many years ago!
I host regular events at the Ski Centre, I really look forward to our visits because the staff make you feel like part of the team. the facilities are marvelous. Who in the midlands can say they have a Ski slope on their doorstep?
