Fantastic Food, Great Service from Friendly Staff in a Comfortable Setting. I had a birthday meal here: the food was superb and very professionally presented. The menu is not huge because everything is obviously freshly prepared and cooked, not simply taken out of the freezer and shoved in the microwave. But there was more than enough choice. The staff are very friendly and cheerful and we were served very quickly. I think this is proably the best local restaurant for miles and I'll definitely be going back.

This Pub is fantastic! Staff are great, and food is great!!! However, Watch out for Mondiaux Wines, they state this pub as their venue and then scam people, nothing to do with the pub, but after their best efforts they cant seem to stop this man!!! Really Rate the pub though!!!

The food on the special Game Evening was excellent! We come regularly to Steak Night, which is great and really enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the pub. Sunday lunchtimes are really great.

The food was some of the best I have tasted in a restaurant for a long time. Pheasant Risotto to die for; Venison Steak; service of good quality....Oh and the Banoffee Pie was magnificent.. and the wine...Oh Yes!

Old public house in a beautful village called Horndon on the Hill. The Bell has a history going back to the middle ages (check out the hot cross bun story!). It has been in the same family for years and Mr John and Mrs Christine Vereker have over the years introduced food and then hotel next door. The food is wonderful with an extensive wine list and different ales. The hotel has the most amazing rooms - all different in decor thanks to Christine. Staff are very friendly and approachable.

We have been to the Bell Numerous times and it is always a pleasure! I am very glad to find them on the best of Buckingham. They have always been very child friendly and accomodated our party's well. Absolutly worth visiting!
