The Queen's Head Inn is an idyllic canal-side venue which offers visitors a relaxing bar - serving real ales and world wines, comfortable snug with real fire, stylish restaurant and stunning function room, and a beer garden with children's play area - perfect for al fresco dining in warmer weather.
There is something for everyone at The Queens Head Inn.
Renowned local chef and business man Lorenzo Richards, owner of The Wildmoor Oak pub and restaurant, has now gone into partnership with chef Dylan Johnston, to take over the Queens Head Inn, which closed in Autumn 2011.
"I am delighted to have been given the chance to return the venue to a great place to go for local people," says Lorenzo. "I know the Queens Head Inn has huge potential - it's a wonderful place where people can just enjoy a drink, have a relaxing meal, or hold a special celebratory party."
Chef Dylan Johnston brings with him over fifteen years of culinary experience and his new menu is based on classic British dishes with a modern twist. Fresh fish and game as well as European influenced cuisine are also on offer.
The menu will be updated regularly and there will be promotional food nights, such as a weekly steak night and regular specials.
A traditional Sunday roast, ideal for all the family, is served 12 noon to 7 pm.
