The Castle Out of School Clubs in Bromsgrove provide children's activities during term-time and school holidays.
Welcome to The Castle Out of School Clubs in Bromsgrove. We operate three out of school clubs in the Bromsgrove area. Our out of school club at St Peters School is open for breakfast and after school. Our club at the Baptist Church is after school only, both clubs are open during term times only. Our third club is at Meadows School and is open 8am - 6pm during the school holiday periods.
We are able to support children with special needs and those who speak English as an additional language.
We welcome children from Bromsgrove and neighbouring areas.
Our staff regularly attend short courses in and around Bromsgrove to ensure that they are up-to-date with new ideas and information. We take the responsibility of caring for your children out of school hours very seriously.
Term Time After School Clubs at St Peters School and The Baptist Church
We are open before school from 8am until 9am at St Peters School, and after school from 3pm until 6pm at St Peters School and The Baptist Church. We provide a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. We’ve found that letting children decide on their own activities helps them feel more at home, like they belong.
Needless to say, our Bromsgrove Out of School Club children benefit from the experience and high standards on which The Castle has built its reputation. Our enthusiastic staff, facilities, equipment and safety procedures are second to none.
Holiday Club at Meadows School
During school holidays, we open from 8am until 6pm. We provide fresh drinks throughout the day, and the children are welcome to help themselves. We sit down together and enjoy healthy snacks such as pitta bread, fruit, biscuits and crumpets. In the warmer weather we enjoy picnics together.
There are loads of children’s activities and games to keep them busy. We make sure the children wear helmets, knee pads and elbow pads when playing on scooters, skateboards and bikes.
The children take an active role in planning their activities, such as baking activities and arts and crafts, and are well supported by our staff who are actively involved in their play.
We have the use of the fully enclosed playground, adventure playground and sports field for outside play. During wet weather, we have the use of the indoor sports hall.
