HLM, based in Bromsgrove are Independent Volvo Specialist, with an in-depth knowledge of all modern Volvos and the very latest dealer level diagnostic equipment. HLM also work on most other leading manufacturers with some of the latest diagnostic tools.
HLM was set up at the beginning of the millennium. Moving into the Units 1 & 2 in August 2000. our first intention was to specialise in preparing Racing Cars as well as tuning, servicing and repairing performance cars & 'Jap Imports'. However, after a very short period of time, we were sure that there was a gap in the market for a company specialising in tuning, servicing and repairing late model Volvos.
So, in 2004, we took the steps to open an MOT bay. We were carrying out a considerable amount of 'chip tuning' and remapping, and a year later we purchased the latest dynojet 224XLC Rolling Road. In 2007, with the latest purchase of Independent Volvo Diagnostics, we are very proud to be the UK's premier independent Volvo Tuning and Service Centre, for the late model cars. HLM are also members of Motor Codes.
Regular maintenance and servicing is the fundamental factor which determines the reliability and longevity of your vehicle. We have the facilities to undertake all service maintenance work, with all the necessary tools and diagnostics equipment as used by authorised franchised dealers. 99% of new vehicles come with a manufacturer 3 year / 60K mile warranty. We are able to service these cars without voiding this warranty, so you don't have to service your car at your dealer just to keep the warranty. This enables us to be a cost effective option rather than using your franchised dealer.

We have a pleasant waiting room to include a TV and broadband access, and loan cars are also available on request, subject to insurance.

Please would you pass on my thanks to Tom and Kerry. The Volvo drives very well once more and performs as it should which is 100% improvement on the car I bought in last week. Kerry kept me up to speed with the cost of parts and the progress of work through out the week and Tom took time to show me the work that had been completed to correct faults and issues. The team together had also spotted and corrected several smaller faults which left unchecked would have become very expensive failures. The loose gearbox sump plug bolt was just one example. In addition the car was returned cleaned and I'll definitely be back in the summer for the next service. Thanks for looking after the car and reminding me that there are professional companies out there that genuinely do care and pride themselves in providing a quality and valued services.
Hi Hamish, its Steve Harris, my Vrs that you remapped Friday has been brilliant so far. not really gone mad, not taken it through 1st yet, trying to be careful! but the rest, well it fly's! only done one usual drive to work and the mpg seems to be a little better as well, but will see over the next few days. really really happy with it so far. thanks again, everyone at the garage was very friendly and the work was very professional, will certainly pass anyone on to yourselves.
Hi Hamish, thanks for your help on Tuesday the tune you gave me is really great, pulls through all gears, and seems more planted on the road . Much less torque steer and less spin in 2nd, lot better than my old tune. Martin sends his thanks too, Darren is contacting you soon about his s60R. Thanks again for a brilliant tune. Frank.
