At Central Car Auctions, we recognised the increasing use of i-Phones by our automotive trade customers, not just in Scotland but across the UK. Although we have a comprehensive website, we needed to find a way to put the greater part of that on-line daily information into the palms of our customers. first4apps worked closely with us on the desired content, functionality and aesthetic appearance of a CCA App. In a relatively short timeframe and working as a team, together we launched, without any hiccups or delays, our app to an awaiting audience. Taking first4apps advice on how best to market our app we ensured no opportunity was missed, resulting in thousands of downloads in a very short timeframe. Not to rest on their laurels, the first4apps team then developed our recently launched Android version. Possibly even more satisfying, is to receive calls from fellow vehicle auction establishments across the UK asking where we got our App and would we mind it they copied it. As they say, “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Our thanks to the team at first4apps and we await with interest for their next initiative to carry and promote the Central Car Auction name.
