We used Tom & Phil on a kitchen-diner refurbishment project in late 2011. They and all the guys who worked with them did a fantastic job and we're so pleased with the result.

The work involved knocking through the wall between the kitchen and dining room, removing the kitchen units, fitting new UPVC sash/casement windows and patio doors, laying underfloor heating and new tiles in the kitchen and dealing with all necessary re-wiring, re-plumbing and re-plastering.

All work was done to a very high standard and at a competitive price. Tom and Phil are extremely hard-working, reliable, considerate and approachable. Although having building work in your home can inevitably be stressful, they did everything possible to minimise the disruption.

We're happy to give Chadwick Forrester a glowing reference and have already recommended them to others. In fact, our neighbours were so impressed that they've arranged for Tom & Phil to do the same kitchen-diner 'knock-through'!

I recently expanded my retail business - taking over the shop next door. This required knocking through from the existing to new premises as well as removing a W.C. and various other fittings. Phil and Tom did an excellent job allowing us to stay open for the whole time of the works. There was minimal noise, mess and disruption. They were courteous and pleasant to all of our customers. We have known Phil and Tom 'Chadwick and Forrester' for over 3 years. We have used them in our old house for an extension and our current one for a garage conversion. They also built an en-suite, and various other alterations around the property. We have never had any problems with their workmanship and they are both very trustworthy people. They not only offer a quality standard of work but also offer a very competitive price in relation to other builders. Phil and Tom converted our garage to an office/dining room. They also built a large cupboard for us in our bedroom reaching over the stairs. We are delighted with our lovely new room and extra storage space! They were efficient and very hardworking and there was minimal disruption -very tidy builders who made minimal mess and cleaned up after themselves before they left each day. Phil and Tom paid attention to every single detail and met all of our requirements and nothing was too much trouble for them. All we had to do in our new room at the end was paint the walls and arrange for our new carpet to be laid! During the time they were doing the conversion we has two weeks of very heavy snow - they arrived at 8.30am every day and did a full day of hard work in freezing conditions. We couldn't have asked for more.

Phil and Tom knocked down 2 old conservatories and replaced them with 2 new extensions. One of which they fitted out as a kitchen with a small w/c and they also converted the existing kitchen-diner into a superb dining room. They did a superb job, turned-up when they said they would and were very co-operative about changes to the work that we had agreed to and their charges for these were reasonable. They used their experience to overcome problems that were encountered during the building work and helped plan our design layout when we ran out of ideas. They are trustworthy workmen and their work is of the highest standard and carried out efficiently. We can recommend their services to anyone who needs a builder. They deal with all work from planning, plumbing, electrical work, windows to kitchen fitting. They are genuine workmen and we thank them greatly for all their hard work and for finishing all the work and putting our home straight in the 3 months we agreed to.
